Families who want to introduce their children to the joys of gardening may rent small plots at the Ethan Allen Homestead. Contact Friends of Burlington Gardens for more information. Association of Africans Living in VermontThe Association of Africans Living in Vermont (AALV), a community-based organization by Africans for Africans, has been using garden space at the Ethan Allen Homestead. The plots have allowed African refugees and immigrants who do not have other garden access to grow their own produce. For more information regarding the AALV, please visit their website. |
